Start with the document type
Quotation and Invoicing helps a service business describe work and track what a customer owes. Choose the correct workspace, then Create Quote or Create Invoice. A quotation proposes the work; an invoice records the amount being billed.
Build clear line items
In the editor, add a useful subject, then select a catalog item or write a custom line. Check quantity, price and the line total. Add clear customer notes and terms. Confirm the customer, dates and payment destination before saving or sharing a document.
Follow the document through
Review the saved document before sending it. When an accepted quotation becomes an invoice, verify the resulting lines and totals. Record payment only when it has actually been received. The other lessons explain suppliers, bills, purchase orders and projects without treating them as stock receiving.
